It was big size, airy and with the fabulous bathroom. A microwave oven, an electric kettle and fridges where a nice touch.

Very peaceful hotel, delicious breakfasts, particularly good location to Newcastle city centre. Airy and modern rooms with private bathrooms and a microwave oven, an electric kettle and fridges. Location very close to Birdoswald Roman Fort, the local pub and Haltwhistle. And a 10-minute walk from Poltross Burn Milecastle. Excellent stay, as always.

As a solo traveler, I loved the private and separate annex at The Hollies On The Wall. The beautifully decorated room felt like a self-catering apartment with excellent facilities. The host, Jackie, was welcoming and attentive, even bringing me a slice of cake to welcome me. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, and the packed lunch option was convenient for my day of walking. The location was perfect for exploring Hadrian's Wall, and the peaceful village added to the overall tranquility of my stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I didn't want to leave.
Felt snug, no complaints whatsoever.
